Vascular Health Alliance
At the Vascular Health Alliance, inspiring flow in the bodies and lives of our patients is our entire team’s goal. It’s our top priority. It’s our total passion. It’s the result of advanced procedures. It’s the product of world-class research. Each day, our team is offering a more accessible approach to vascular care. We’re integrating our services, skills and talents to give patients all they need to recover effectively—and all they need to improve their flow. The Vascular Health Alliance is the largest, most comprehensive vascular care center in the Southeast. The VHA is located at Greenville Hospital System University Medical Center Patewood Campus and is one of the only facilities in the United States that provides patients access to a complete range of vascular care. From diagnosis to surgery, cardiac risk reduction and venous treatments to nuclear medicine and wound care, the Vascular Health Alliance is leading the way — all under one roof.
Diagnostic ServicesAt the Vascular Health Alliance, we have all of the latest diagnostic technology available in one convenient location. These on-site resources take the hassle out of testing and lab work, and allow doctors and patients to focus on care regimens and results—instead of driving from one specialist’s office to another. Our advanced chest X-ray equipment is fully automated and never requires calibration, so patients and doctors can get more accurate pre-op results faster and easier than ever before. The Institute’s nuclear lab incorporates state-of-the-art equipment to test function and capacity during activity. Located within walking distance of other critical exam stations, the lab provides patients with a comfortable, accessible space to perform stress tests. The Brilliance™ 64-channel CT scanner configuration provides high-speed, multi-layer coverage for better image quality, allowing physicians to evaluate arteries anywhere in the coronary tree with unprecedented accuracy and clarity. Our on-site phlebotomy station ensures that patients do not have to travel to a separate facility to have blood drawn. Our lab is located alongside our doctors and staff, giving patients seamless access and timely results. The echocardiogram lab is directly adjacent to other key testing sites, allowing patients to comfortably move through a required sequence of tests, while doctors and technologists can compare results and discuss treatment options seamlessly. Vascular LabDesigned with faster, better results in mind, our nationally accredited, state-of-the-art vascular lab is located next to our patient exam rooms, allowing doctors to make diagnoses and treatment decisions without delay. One of the busiest in the region, the vascular lab at the Vascular Health Alliance sees over 20,000 patients each year. Each day, the Vascular Health Alliance is bringing a more accessible, integrated and compassionate approach to vascular care.
