Multidisciplinary Center (MDC)

The treatment of cancer patients, especially at the time of initial diagnosis, requires the input of different surgical and medical specialists. Critical to treatment planning is the ability to evaluate quickly and in a coordinated manner. The MDC includes surgical, medical, and radiation oncologists and a dedicated oncology nurse navigator. Other subspecialists such as interventional radiology, pulmonary, and GI medicine physicians are also available. Treatment recommendations follow NCCN guidelines and consideration of participation in clinical trails with the Cancer Treatment Center. MDC programs are in place for:
