How do I pre-register?
After your surgeon schedules your procedure, a staff member will call you to complete the admissions process.
How should I prepare for my surgery?
The best way to prepare for surgery is to carefully follow all of the instructions provided by your doctor. If you are confused about any of the instructions, be sure to ask your doctor for clarification.
What should I bring with me?
Our Preparing for Surgery guide provides information about what to expect before and after your procedure, what to bring to the hospital, and related information.
How many visitors can come with me?
We ask that you limit visitors to one for your pre-assessment appointment and two on your surgery day if you are returning home the same day. Patients who will remain in the hospital following surgery may have more visitors.
What is a Universal Medical Form?
A universal medical form is a chart to help you and your family keep a current record of information that your healthcare providers need to know, such as immunizations, allergies, medications, vitamins, supplements, or over-the-counter medicines.
